Paul Pogba, the former Juventus midfielder, is reportedly in advanced discussions to join AS Monaco. Meanwhile, Kyle Walker, who recently completed a six-month loan at AC Milan, may be heading to Fenerbahce.
Although the official transfer window for most clubs doesn`t open until July 1, free agents like Pogba are exempt from this restriction. Pogba is now free to resume his career after serving a ban for failing a doping test while at Juventus in September 2023. He mutually agreed to terminate his contract with the Italian club and is now exploring new opportunities.
Pogba`s Potential Return to French Football
According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, negotiations between Pogba and AS Monaco are progressing well. However, it remains uncertain if the French international will ultimately choose this destination. Interestingly, Pogba has limited experience playing in France, having left Le Havre for Manchester United`s youth academy in 2009 before joining Juventus in 2012.
Walker`s Next Move After Milan Stint
In other transfer news, Kyle Walker, who recently completed a loan spell at AC Milan, is reportedly in talks with Fenerbahce. The Turkish club is said to be offering the 35-year-old right-back a two-year contract, with the possibility of working under manager Jose Mourinho.
Walker made 16 appearances for AC Milan during his short stint with the Italian club. However, the Rossoneri opted not to pursue a permanent deal for the English defender.
