Premier League Clubs Engage in Talks for Marseille’s Rising Star Luis Henrique
Reports suggest that Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest have initiated discussions with the representatives of Luis Henrique, the 23-year-old winger currently playing for Olympique de Marseille. The Brazilian player has experienced a significant performance improvement this season under Roberto De Zerbi’s guidance, netting seven goals and providing five assists.
Prior to this breakthrough campaign, Henrique had struggled to make an impact at Marseille, scoring only once in his first two and a half seasons with the club. Despite a recent dip in form, interest in the talented winger remains high among several European clubs.
In Italy, Inter Milan’s CEO Beppe Marotta is reportedly in negotiations with Marseille’s sporting director Mehdi Benatia, while another unnamed Serie A club is also monitoring the situation. German giants Bayern Munich have also expressed interest, although sources indicate that no formal offer has been made yet, as Henrique is just one of several potential targets for the Bavarian club.
As the summer transfer window approaches, it remains to be seen which club will secure the services of the promising Brazilian winger, whose improved performances have caught the eye of scouts across Europe’s top leagues.
