Primavera Derby: Milan-Inter Match Concludes with 1-1 Draw and Post-Game Brawl

Milan-Inter, it’s never just a normal game. The derby, valid for the 29th round of the Primavera 1 championship, ended in a brawl. After the final whistle confirming the 1-1 final score, a scuffle broke out between players from both teams. Numerous players were booked, and Federico Guidi, the Rossoneri coach, was sent off.

THE BRAWL – The tension erupted at the end of a very tense match characterized by strong competitive spirit. The spark was ignited by Comotto’s behavior, who allegedly provoked the opponents at the end of the game. This led to him being targeted by the Inter bench. In his defense, Milan players and staff members rushed onto the field after the match, bringing things to the brink of a brawl. Ultimately, Guidi paid the price, having already displayed considerable nervousness during the game, particularly due to the penalty awarded to Inter in the first half. At that moment, Nerazzurri striker Lavelli was brought down by goalkeeper Longoni in a challenge that raised some doubts.

THE LEAGUE TABLE – High tension, some pushing and shoving, and a point each. The goals that decided the match were scored by Berenbruch from the penalty spot in the 18th minute and Perrucci who equalized in the 2nd minute of the second half with a precise right-footed shot. This was the third derby of the season in the Primavera league (Milan had won the previous two encounters, 3-1 in the league and on penalties in the Coppa Italia). Thanks to this result, Inter fails to capitalize on the defeat of league leaders Roma in Cagliari, who are now only two points ahead. Zanchetta’s team remains second, while Guidi’s side is sixth.
