Roma is aiming for their fifth consecutive victory in the upcoming match against Empoli. Just before the game, which could potentially elevate the Giallorossi to seventh place, surpassing Fiorentina, coach Claudio Ranieri shared his thoughts with Sky Sport.
When asked about statistics, Ranieri stated, “Statistics? I disregard them. I’ve put on my helmet and continue to work hard.”
Regarding the team formation, Ranieri commented, “We exerted a lot of nervous energy on Thursday. My players are exceptional; even those who play less frequently are always ready. There might be some difficulties since they don’t often play together, but I am confident we will perform well.”
Ranieri also spoke to DAZN, further elaborating on team dynamics and player performances.
Discussing Soule and Dybala, Ranieri revealed, “The secret is their intelligence. Coaches speak to everyone, but some choose to understand, and others don’t. I have intelligent players, and each one wants to contribute to the team.”
Finally, on Pellegrini, Ranieri said, “When will he be at his peak? We are working on it. He is a great player and he will demonstrate it. He is an atypical Roman, keeping everything to himself.”
