RB Leipzig Overcomes St. Pauli 2-0 in Bundesliga Clash
RB Leipzig earned a 2-0 win at home against St. Pauli in the 21st round of the German Bundesliga on February 9, 2025.
The hosts took the lead through Benjamin Šeško in the 16th minute. Xavi Simons doubled Leipzig’s advantage in the 35th minute, also providing an assist.
Leipzig were reduced to 10 men in the 69th minute when Willi Orban received a straight red card. However, they managed to maintain their two-goal lead and secure the victory.
With this result, RB Leipzig moves up to 4th place in the Bundesliga table with 36 points. St. Pauli remains in 14th position with 21 points.
