Real Madrid triumphed over Rayo Vallecano in their home game for La Liga matchday 27, with a score of 2-1.
“The Whites” scored two quick goals in the first half. Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring in the 30th minute, and Vinicius Junior extended the lead for Madrid four minutes later. Pedro Diaz scored the only goal for the visiting team.
Real Madrid has now accumulated 57 points and is positioned second in the La Liga table. League leader Barcelona has the same number of points but with one game in hand. Rayo Vallecano is in seventh place in the Spanish Championship with 36 points.
