Roma Considers Selling Dybala as Agent Meets with Galatasaray

AS Roma is reportedly open to the possibility of transferring Paulo Dybala during the January transfer window. The Argentine striker’s agent, Carlos Novel, recently held discussions with Galatasaray officials, suggesting a potential move for the player.

Novel was spotted at Galatasaray’s recent match against Trabzonspor, which ended in a thrilling 4-3 victory for the Turkish side. He was accompanied by intermediary George Gardi, further fueling speculation about Dybala’s future.

Sources in Italy indicate that Roma is willing to release Dybala without a transfer fee next month. However, the player himself appears hesitant about making a mid-season move to Turkey. Reports suggest that Dybala might reconsider if Roma explicitly expresses their intention to sell him.

Dybala’s current contract with Roma runs until June 2025, with an automatic one-year extension clause that would be triggered if he makes seven more appearances this season, playing at least 45 minutes in each game. The fact that Roma has not initiated talks for a new contract implies that the club may not see Dybala as part of their long-term plans.

The situation remains fluid, with Dybala’s future at Roma uncertain as the January transfer window approaches.
