The official announcement came this evening: Milan and Inter have submitted the feasibility study document for the acquisition of San Siro stadium and the surrounding land. The two Milanese clubs aim to have a new stadium by the end of 2030.
Speaking about this significant news for the future of the Milanese clubs, Paolo Scaroni, president of AC Milan, commented after being contacted by phone by ANSA: “This is an important step, but it is the first in a process where nothing is taken for granted. What is certain is the will and determination of both clubs in this direction, in which RedBird’s strategic vision and concrete commitment to stadiums with international experience has been fundamental for Milan.”
Regarding the stadium, Scaroni added: “It will be a beautiful stadium: modern, sustainable, but also safe and accessible, ideal for everyone, families and children, for truly healthy support against all crime and violence. A green and innovative project for the benefit of the city and its citizens.”
