Savicevic’s Perspectives on Milan’s Recent Transfers and Team Dynamics

Former AC Milan playmaker Dejan Savicevic recently shared his insights on the club’s latest signings and their potential impact. In an interview, he expressed optimism about the team’s future, particularly focusing on new additions Joao Felix and Santiago Gimenez.

Savicevic emphasized the importance of Milan’s rich history, stating, “Milan is a great team with seven Champions League trophies. Fans should dream big.” He believes the new signings will be proud to be part of such a prestigious club.

Regarding the recent transfers, Savicevic commented on the arrivals of Walker, Gimenez, Joao Felix, Sottil, and Bondo. He noted, “The team is strengthening, though I’m sad about Bennacer’s departure. I liked him.” He also mentioned recognizing Sottil’s name, recalling his father as a good player.

When asked about the possibility of Joao Felix and Gimenez playing together, Savicevic was optimistic. “I think they can coexist. Coach Sergio Conceicao seems like the right man, especially for Joao Felix,” he explained. Savicevic praised Felix’s talent, noting his dribbling skills and overall game involvement.

Addressing concerns about Felix’s demeanor, Savicevic stated, “At Milan, you can’t be sad or sulky. Conceicao will help him integrate. They’re both Portuguese, speak the same language, and likely share similar football philosophies.”

On Gimenez, Savicevic admitted to limited knowledge but acknowledged his goal-scoring ability. He added, “If Ibrahimovic says he’s strong, it means he’s strong.”

Savicevic’s comments reflect a positive outlook on Milan’s future, emphasizing the potential of the new signings and the importance of the club’s winning mentality.
