Serie A: Rescheduling Matches Postponed Due to Italian Super Cup
The Italian Super Cup, now an established winter event in Italian football, will take place in Saudi Arabia from January 2-6, 2025. This competition, featuring four teams competing in semifinals and a final, will impact the Serie A schedule for the participating clubs: Inter, Milan, Juventus, and Atalanta.
These teams will need to postpone their Serie A matches originally scheduled during the 19th round, which marks the end of the first half of the season. The affected games will be rescheduled as a mini-midweek round immediately following the 20th round of the championship.
While Atalanta and Juventus were already set to face each other in the 19th round, Milan and Inter’s postponed matches against Como and Bologna, respectively, will affect other teams. The rescheduled dates are as follows:
- Como vs. Milan – January 14, 2025, at 18:30
- Atalanta vs. Juventus – January 14, 2025, at 20:45
- Inter vs. Bologna – January 15, 2025, at 20:45
This rescheduling ensures that all teams can fulfill their Serie A commitments while participating in the prestigious Italian Super Cup competition.
