Luciano Spalletti, the head coach of the Italian national team, has shared his feelings in anticipation of the UEFA Nations League quarter-final matches against Germany. These games are scheduled for March 20th in Milan and March 23rd in Dortmund.
“I am experiencing some tension, but I’m not overly worried because I want my players to understand that the outcome of the match depends on what we bring to the game. Fear is just a fleeting feeling, while danger is something else entirely; it appears at a specific moment,” Spalletti told Football Italia.
In Group 2 of League A of the Nations League, the Italian national team secured second place, earning 13 points in six matches. Under Spalletti’s guidance, the team achieved four victories, one draw, and suffered one defeat. The group also included the national teams of France, Belgium, and Israel.
