It’s not just about results on the pitch, but a deep malaise rooted in a short-sighted vision, a lack of attention to youth sectors, and a reluctance to embrace modern managerial and infrastructural dynamics.
This crisis is not merely a phantom; it manifests in the inconsistent performance of our National team, in the difficulty of clubs to compete at the highest European levels, in the outdated sports facilities, and in a certain detachment from the fans. To overcome this phase, it is imperative to abandon sterile nostalgia and invest strategically: in the training of young talents, in tactical and cultural updating, and in the creation of a football environment that is forward-looking, not anchored to the past. Only with a renewed sense of realism and innovation can Italian football aspire to regain its prominent position.
