According to reports from Italy, Juventus, Roma, and Real Sociedad are closely monitoring Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi. The Argentine center-back`s contract is set to expire in June 2026, making a summer transfer likely.
Senesi joined Bournemouth from Feyenoord in 2022 for €15 million. However, his playing time this season has been limited to just 19 appearances across all competitions, largely due to a severe thigh injury that sidelined him for four months between December 2024 and April 2025.
Senesi Seeks New Opportunities
Transfer expert Orazio Accomando reports that Roma, Juventus, and Villarreal have shown interest in the 28-year-old defender. However, Roma`s pursuit may be hindered by financial constraints and the need to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.
While Juventus is also considering other options, Spain appears to be a more probable destination for Senesi. Both Real Sociedad and Villarreal have been linked with the Argentine international.
As Senesi enters the final year of his contract with Bournemouth, the upcoming transfer window could see intense competition for his signature among these top European clubs.
