Torino Manager Vanoli: “We Showed Our Determination to Fight Until the End”
Following Torino’s draw against Lazio, manager Paolo Vanoli shared his thoughts on the team’s performance and future prospects. Vanoli emphasized the squad’s positive trajectory since the second half of the season began, stating, “Tonight, our players once again demonstrated our commitment to remain competitive until the final whistle, maintaining high motivation levels.”
Discussing the team’s tactical approach, Vanoli expressed his preference for offensive football, noting that the 4-2-3-1 formation allows players like Adams and Elmas to excel. He added, “I believe we earned this draw with our performance.”
Reflecting on the team’s recovery from a challenging period, Vanoli highlighted the impact of losing key player Zapata and the subsequent adjustments made. “We’ve brought in goal-scoring players and seen improvement from existing squad members like Gineitis, Vlasic, and Ilic,” he explained.
When asked about the future, Vanoli remained focused on the present season: “We began strongly, navigated through a difficult patch, and have since enhanced our performance. Now, our priority is to honor this important jersey until the very end of the season.”
