Torino FC, a Serie A team, has officially announced the acquisition of 24-year-old Reims striker Amine Salama on a loan deal. According to reports, Torino has an option to buy Salama for €4 million.
Salama previously spent time on loan at Stade Malherbe Caen in January 2024, playing 15 matches and scoring one goal. For Reims, he participated in 17 Ligue 1 games and two Coupe de France matches during the 2024-25 season.
Salama, who holds both French and Moroccan citizenship, is versatile and can play as a central striker or an attacking midfielder. He has accumulated over 50 appearances in Ligue 1, representing both Reims and Angers SCO.
This past Sunday, Salama started for Reims as the main striker but was substituted after approximately 60 minutes. Reims are currently experiencing a poor run of form, having not won in their last nine Ligue 1 matches and are positioned 13th in the league standings. This poor performance recently led to the dismissal of their head coach.
