Torino to Loan Leipzig Midfielder Elmas with Option to Buy
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Torino has reached an agreement with RB Leipzig to loan midfielder Elif Elmas until the end of the 2024/25 season. The deal reportedly includes an option to purchase the player for €17 million.
Elmas, a 25-year-old Macedonian international, has made 6 appearances this season, providing 1 assist. He previously played for Napoli before joining Leipzig. The transfer market website Transfermarkt currently values Elmas at €12 million.
This move could provide Elmas with more playing time and an opportunity to showcase his skills in Serie A. For Torino, it represents a low-risk chance to potentially add a talented midfielder to their squad on a permanent basis if he impresses during the loan spell.
