Tottenham Consider January Loan Move for £204k-per-week PSG Forward
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani on loan in the January transfer window. The North London club is looking to strengthen their squad mid-season after a recent poor run of form in the Premier League.
Spurs suffered their fourth defeat in five league matches on Boxing Day, losing 1-0 away to Nottingham Forest. The loss highlighted Tottenham’s ongoing injury crisis, particularly in defense, with several key players sidelined.
According to reliable German journalist Florian Plettenberg, Tottenham have expressed interest in bringing in Kolo Muani temporarily next month. The 26-year-old French international has struggled to make an impact at PSG since joining from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer.
Kolo Muani enjoyed his best season in 2022/23 with Frankfurt, scoring 15 goals and providing 11 assists in 32 Bundesliga appearances. Tottenham would hope he could rediscover that form if they pursue a loan deal.
While Spurs have been linked with several center-backs, they are also looking to bolster their attacking options in January. A loan move for Kolo Muani could provide additional firepower as Tottenham aim to get their top-four challenge back on track in the second half of the season.
