Francesco Totti, the legendary Italian footballer, has expressed his admiration for Como`s rising star Nico Paz. The former Roma captain revealed that Paz is currently the only Serie A player catching his attention.
Totti praised Paz`s impressive start to the season, noting the young player`s three goals and three assists in just six Serie A appearances. “At present, there aren`t many Italian talents that stand out,” Totti commented in an interview with Skills Crew. “Nico Paz, although not Italian, is the only player I`m closely following. He`s incredibly intriguing.”
The World Cup winner also shared his thoughts on the current Serie A title race, suggesting it could be more competitive this year. “I believe we`ll see multiple teams challenging Napoli this season. It appears to be a more balanced competition with several contenders in the mix,” Totti observed.
Regarding the Italian national team, Totti extended his best wishes to former teammate Gennaro Gattuso ahead of crucial World Cup qualifying matches. “It`s important to wish Gattuso luck, and the same goes for the entire national team. We all hope they can secure Italy`s return to the World Cup,” he concluded.
