Tudor Optimistic About Juventus’ Pre-Season Progress

Juventus played their first pre-season friendly against Reggiana, resulting in a 2-2 draw. Head coach Igor Tudor described the match as a valuable exercise for the team, noting that it reflected the intensity of their recent training sessions.

Tudor commented on the players` varying fitness levels, which is typical at this stage of preparation. He emphasized the importance of such matches for building match fitness and assessing the squad`s progress.

Bremer`s Return Boosts Juventus Defense

The coach expressed particular pleasure at seeing Gleison Bremer back in action after an injury sidelined the Brazilian defender for much of last season. Tudor acknowledged that Bremer would need time to regain his top form but was optimistic about his return.

Regarding the overall state of the team, Tudor said, “I`m pleased with our initial training days. We`ve been working intensively, and the new players have integrated well. There`s a strong commitment within the squad and a genuine desire to perform at their best.”

The friendly saw appearances from several key players, including transfer targets Lloyd Kelly, Filip Kostic, and Dusan Vlahovic, with the latter scoring Juventus` second goal. New signings Jonathan David and Joao Mario also made their unofficial debuts for the club.

Juventus` pre-season campaign continues with their next match scheduled against Borussia Dortmund in Germany on August 10.
