Juventus manager Igor Tudor has opened up about his psychological approach to working with strikers Jonathan David and Lois Openda. In a press conference before the upcoming Serie A clash with Milan, Tudor explained his rotational strategy and efforts to maximize the potential of his forwards.
“I`m focusing on the mental aspect with David and Openda,” Tudor stated. “My aim is to bring out their best performance through game-by-game decisions.”
The Croatian coach also shared his thoughts on his compatriot and Milan star Luka Modric, who is expected to feature in the match:
“I had the privilege of playing alongside Modric for our national team. We achieved historic results for Croatia together. His talent is unparalleled – we may never see another player like him,” Tudor remarked. “He`s in a league of his own, far surpassing others in skill. At 40, he`s still performing at an incredible level, which is unprecedented. I`m proud of his achievements, but I hope he has an off day when we face each other tomorrow,” he added with a smile.
Tudor`s comments highlight the respect he holds for Modric`s enduring excellence, while also emphasizing his focus on preparing his own team for the crucial encounter with Milan.
