Italian reports suggest that Udinese is on the brink of securing a deal for Polish international midfielder Jakub Piotrowski from Ludogorets. The 27-year-old player is in the final months of his contract, making him available for approximately €3 million.
Multiple Italian sources, including Tuttomercatoweb and Sportitalia, are confident that an agreement has been reached for the transfer.
Piotrowski Prepares for Serie A Challenge
Ludogorets has already begun their season with Champions League qualifiers, having overcome Dinamo Minsk in extra time. They are currently awaiting the second leg of their match against HNK Rijeka. It is expected that Piotrowski will be allowed to travel for his medical examination with Udinese after this fixture.
As captain of Ludogorets, Piotrowski has earned 12 caps for the Polish national team, contributing two goals and one assist. His journey in European football began when he left Poland in 2018 for KRC Genk. He subsequently played for Waasland-Beveren and Fortuna Dusseldorf before joining Ludogorets in the summer of 2022 for €1.3 million.
This move to Udinese represents a significant step in Piotrowski`s career, offering him the opportunity to showcase his talents in one of Europe`s top leagues.
