Venezia and Verona Share Points in 1-1 Draw

Venezia and Verona played out a 1-1 draw in their Serie A encounter. Both teams fielded competitive lineups and created chances throughout the match.

Venezia’s starting eleven included Stankovic in goal, with Candè, Idzes, and Haps in defense. The midfield consisted of Zerbin, Busio, Nicolussi Caviglia, Doumbia, and Ellertsson, while Oristanio supported Pohjanpalo in attack. Manager Eusebio Di Francesco made several substitutions in the second half to try and influence the outcome.

Verona lined up with Montipò in goal, protected by Daniliuc, Coppola, and Ghilardi. Tchatchoua, Serdar, Belahyane, and Bradaric formed the midfield, with Suslov playing behind the strike partnership of Sarr and Tengstedt. Coach Zanetti also made changes as the game progressed.

Referee Manganiello officiated the match. Pohjanpalo of Venezia and Kastanos of Verona received yellow cards during the contest.

The result leaves both teams with a point each as they continue their Serie A campaigns.
