Real Madrid’s Brazilian star Vinicius Jr. has been honored as the top striker of 2024 at the prestigious Globe Soccer Awards. The annual ceremony, which celebrates excellence in football, took place in Dubai.
This accolade comes on the heels of Vinicius’ recent recognition as the world’s best player at The Best FIFA Football Awards on December 17. The 24-year-old forward had also finished as runner-up for the Ballon d’Or in October, second only to Manchester City midfielder Rodri.
Vinicius’ outstanding performance in the previous season contributed significantly to his recent surge of accolades. He appeared in 39 matches for Real Madrid, scoring an impressive 24 goals and providing 11 assists. His contributions were instrumental in Real Madrid’s success, helping the team secure both the Spanish La Liga title and the UEFA Champions League trophy.
