Vlahovic Reports for Medical Evaluation After Early Exit in Juventus Match
Dusan Vlahovic has arrived at JMedical, Juventus’ medical facility, for tests following his early substitution during the team’s 1-0 defeat against Parma in Serie A on Wednesday night.
Vlahovic had been a consistent starter for Juventus since Igor Tudor replaced Thiago Motta as manager in March. However, he was unable to continue playing after the first half of Wednesday’s match against Parma due to an apparent thigh injury.
The Bianconeri were already without Kenan Yildiz, who was on the bench, and Teun Koopmeiners, who did not travel with the team. This led to Vlahovic and Randal Kolo Muani starting together for the first time under Tudor’s management.
After conceding a goal in first-half stoppage time, Juventus’ situation worsened when Vlahovic did not return for the second half. He was replaced by Francisco Conceicao, with Kolo Muani shifting to the central forward position.
According to reports from Ilbianconero.com, Vlahovic has already completed his medical examination in Turin. The results of these tests are still pending.
