Dusan Vlahovic has spoken out about the recent controversies surrounding his future at Juventus, stating that the majority of the rumors were false. The Serbian striker reassured fans of his commitment to the club following a high-scoring 4-4 draw against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
Juventus has been involved in two consecutive high-scoring matches, having previously defeated Inter 4-3 in Serie A. The match against Dortmund was particularly eventful, with Juventus twice coming from behind to equalize, including goals from Kenan Yildiz and Vlahovic. Despite falling behind 4-2 late in the game, Juventus managed to score twice in stoppage time, with Vlahovic both scoring and assisting Lloyd Kelly`s equalizer.
Vlahovic Reflects on Juventus` Recent Performances
“As a young team, we`ll benefit from these experiences,” Vlahovic told reporters. “However, we need to improve our game management and reduce the number of goals we concede, especially right after scoring. It`s becoming a pattern we need to address.”
Addressing his role as a substitute in recent matches, Vlahovic stated, “I respect the coach`s decisions and am ready to contribute whenever called upon. While everyone prefers to start, I understand the importance of impact substitutions in modern football with five substitutes allowed.”
Vlahovic also took the opportunity to address the transfer speculations that surrounded him during the summer. “It`s been a challenging period with daily rumors, most of which were far from the truth.
