Paul Pogba’s suspension for doping ends today. Reports from Italy suggest that the former Juventus midfielder has several options to continue his career, potentially including Inter Miami and Al-Shabab, managed by Pavel Nedved.
Pogba, the French midfielder, is now eligible to play again after 569 days since his positive doping test during a match between Udinese and Juventus.
Initially, Pogba received a four-year ban, but it was later reduced to 18 months. Consequently, as of today, March 11, 2025, Pogba is a free agent.

Following Juventus’ termination of Pogba’s contract at the end of 2024, the question is: where will the former Bianconeri star play next?
Sources indicate that Major League Soccer (MLS) or the Saudi Pro League are the most probable destinations for Pogba.
Having spent time with his family in Miami recently, Inter Miami, owned by David Beckham, appears to be a logical option for the 2018 World Cup winner with France.
The financially attractive Saudi Pro League is also a viable possibility. Several French players, such as N’Golo Kante and Karim Benzema, are currently playing for Al-Ittihad. Furthermore, Pavel Nedved, previously a director at Juventus, has recently taken on the role of sporting director at Al-Shabab.
Marseille seems to be the only potential European club. Mehdi Benatia, a director at Marseille, has indicated that signing Pogba for the 2025-26 season is not out of the question.
The last time Pogba played a full 90-minute match was three years ago, on March 12, 2022, when Manchester United defeated Tottenham 3-2 at Old Trafford.
