Young PSG Talent Ayman Kari Poised for Saint-Étienne Transfer
According to recent reports, 20-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Ayman Kari is close to finalizing a move to AS Saint-Étienne before the transfer window closes. Kari, who spent the last two seasons on loan at FC Lorient, returned to PSG this summer but failed to secure a place in Luis Enrique’s first-team plans.
Despite Kari’s relatively successful stint at Lorient, which saw the club relegated to Ligue 2 in his second season, he was unable to convince the PSG coaching staff of his value to the squad. As a result, the young talent was excluded from the senior team setup.
Although Kari couldn’t secure a transfer during the summer window, he now appears set to join Saint-Étienne. PSG is expected to receive compensation for the player, along with a percentage of any future transfer fee. Kari is reportedly ready to sign a three-and-a-half-year contract with Les Verts in the coming days.
This move could provide Kari with the opportunity to rejuvenate his career and gain valuable playing time at a historic French club. For Saint-Étienne, the acquisition of a promising young talent from PSG could prove to be a shrewd piece of business as they look to strengthen their squad.
