Young Strasbourg Striker Headed for Loan Spell in Dutch League

Milos Lukovic, a 19-year-old forward who joined RC Strasbourg Alsace last summer, is reportedly set for a temporary move to the Netherlands. The young Serbian striker has found it challenging to secure playing time in France’s top division and is now expected to spend the remainder of the season on loan at Eredivisie club Heerenveen.

Strasbourg acquired Lukovic from IMT Belgrade in January for a fee of €4.7 million. He completed the season in Serbia before making the transition to France. However, his time at RCSA has been marred by health issues, specifically sciatica, which has significantly limited his opportunities to establish himself at the club.

With only two brief appearances totaling 11 minutes in Ligue 1 this season, Lukovic is now poised to join Heerenveen on a straight loan deal until the end of the current campaign. The move to the Dutch side, currently sitting in 11th place in the Eredivisie, presents an opportunity for the young striker to gain valuable playing experience and potentially jumpstart his career in European football.
