Zakharyan to Undergo Medical Examination on Saturday Morning

The press service of Real Sociedad has informed that midfielder Arsen Zakharyan will undergo a medical examination on the morning of March 15th.

Earlier reports from Mundo Deportivo indicated that the 21-year-old Russian player was unable to complete training ahead of the 28th round La Liga match against Rayo Vallecano, scheduled for March 16th.

“Zakharyan is dealing with the same thigh injury. He will undergo a medical examination in Madrid on Saturday morning,” the club’s press service stated.

Zakharyan’s last appearance on the field was in the match against Leganes (3:0) on February 23rd, where he scored a goal. Since that game, Arsen has missed four matches for the team.

In the first half of this season, Zakharyan was unable to assist his team due to injury. The Russian player has only participated in 4 matches across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
