David Zakharyan, the older brother of Real Sociedad midfielder Arsen Zakharyan, has provided an update on the footballer’s health. Arsen sustained a thigh muscle injury during the La Liga match against Leganes, which Real Sociedad won 3-0.
In a message on his Telegram channel, David Zakharyan stated, “Everything is fine, he will be ready for Barca. They decided not to take any risks.”
21-year-old Arsen Zakharyan scored his first goal of the current season in the first half of the match against Leganes. He was substituted at halftime during the game as a precaution.
Real Sociedad is scheduled to play against Barcelona on March 2nd in a La Liga match.
