Zakharyan’s Training Cut Short Due to Thigh Pain at Real Sociedad

Russian midfielder Arsen Zakharyan is facing another setback as he experiences thigh discomfort during training with Real Sociedad. The 21-year-old was unable to complete the team’s practice session ahead of their upcoming La Liga match against Rayo Vallecano on March 16.

Zakharyan’s last appearance on the field was on February 23 in a match against Leganes, where he managed to score a goal in Real Sociedad’s 3-0 victory. Since then, the young player has missed four consecutive matches due to injury concerns.

This recent setback adds to Zakharyan’s frustrating season, as he was already sidelined for the first half of the current campaign due to injury. So far, the Russian midfielder has only participated in four matches across all competitions, contributing one goal and one assist.

Real Sociedad’s medical staff will closely monitor Zakharyan’s condition to determine his availability for upcoming fixtures. The club hopes to have the talented player back in action soon to bolster their midfield options as they compete in La Liga and other tournaments.
