Bajrang Punia says that he has full ‘belief’ within the Indian authorities, reveals there will not be any protest on Sunday
Olympic medallist Bajrang Punia on Saturday advised IANS that there might be no protest on Sunday because the wrestlers have “full belief” within the authorities.
“We are going to await the time given to us, the one month’s time. We are going to await justice after which determine what to do subsequent. We now have full belief in our authorities that justice might be finished. No protest is going down tomorrow. Nothing such is going on,” Bajrang cleared.
Late on Friday night time, the aggrieved grapplers known as off their protest after getting assurances from the federal government that their grievances could be addressed, step one of which was the stepping apart of under-fire WFI president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
Nonetheless, on Saturday morning, sources near wrestlers advised the company that the grapplers had been sad with the result of the assembly that came about on the Union Sports activities Minister Anurag Thakur’s residence and they’re planning to re-start their protest.

Sources had stated that there’s a event going down in UP and Brij Bhushan is attending it, this irked the protesting wrestlers on Saturday.
Even some wrestlers are so scared that they’re pondering of leaving India, sources added. However Bajrang Punia denied this growth within the night.
Earlier within the day, the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) despatched a reply to the Sports activities Ministry, rejecting all of the accusations, together with that of sexual harassment, made by the highest Indian wrestlers in opposition to its president Brij Bhushan.
