The Omonia Nicosia custodian – who isn’t even their first alternative – was practically unbeatable within the Europa League group stage tie in opposition to Manchester United as he managed to make 12 saves between the sticks, solely to be crushed by a last-gasp Scott Mctominay winner.
WHAT THEY SAID: Talking to BT Sport after the sport, Uzoho mentioned, “I’m not disenchanted. We had an excellent recreation, I’m blissful, it’s not a straightforward stadium to play at. It’s a dream come true. I’ve dreamed to play right here for an extended, very long time.
“Once I noticed the draw, I wished to play and I bought the chance. Arguably it’s the finest I’ve performed. I’m happy with my teammates although as a result of it’s not a one-man job.”
