James Maddison seems to have escaped severe damage regardless of being pressured off within the first half of Leicester’s 2-0 win over West Ham.

WHAT HAPPENED? Maddison scored the opening aim within the early phases of the match at West Ham however needed to be taken off 25 minutes into the sport, with Dennis Praet taking his place.
THE BIGGER PICTURE: The difficulty occurred simply days after it was introduced the 25-year-old had been included within the England squad for the World Cup. It had many fearing the worst, with the event beginning on November 20, though Brendan Rodgers has now allayed these fears.
WHAT THEY SAID?: Rodgers instructed reporters instantly after the West Ham sport: “He is effective. It was simply precautionary, a bit soreness on the aspect of the knee. He hasn’t skilled loads this week. He’s okay.”

WHAT NEXT FOR MADDISON? It seems to be excellent news for the Three Lions. It hadn’t seemed good when Maddison went down and needed to be taken off though Rodgers’ reassuring phrases that the substitution was only a precaution could have helped ease fears that Maddison could be prone to lacking the World Cup. Roll on November 21 and England’s first sport.
