Pulisic Shrugs Off Transfer Talk: "I'm Happy at Milan, Rumors Don't Affect Me"
Christian Pulisic has openly dismissed recent transfer speculation, unequivocally affirming his commitment and contentment at AC Milan. In an interview with 'Men's Journal' ahead of the USA's upcoming friendly matches against Belgium and Portugal, the American winger stated he remains entirely unfazed by the ongoing whispers regarding his future.
"The market rumors? It's mostly other people who bring them up and ask me what's going on," Pulisic explained. "And my response is: 'I haven't seen anything. I honestly don't know'."
The former Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund player, who made his move to Milan in the summer of 2023, stressed that there is a proper time and context for such discussions, and it is certainly not in the midst of an active football season. "I believe there's always an appropriate moment and setting for these kinds of things," he noted. "Typically, that's not when I'm deep into the season, playing games. I am not currently engaged in conversations with my agent about other clubs or potential transfers."
Pulisic, born in 1998, reiterated that the transfer buzz holds little sway over him. "The transfer rumors don't really concern me, so they don't influence me at all," he asserted. "When the right time comes to discuss it, and if various options emerge, then, of course, that would be different. But at this moment, that is not my focus. I'm feeling great where I am, I'm comfortable at Milan, and I'm simply trying to maintain my concentration on that as much as possible."
