They need President Dina Boluarte to resign and early elections be held.
Many are supporters of her predecessor, Pedro Castillo, and have an identical background to their former chief.
They’re Indigenous, poor and are available from rural Peru’s mountainous areas.
They are saying President Boluarte doesn’t characterize them, however she has refused to step down.
