After 10 days of peace talks in South Africa, a shock deal has been reached to cease Ethiopia’s civil conflict in Tigray.
The Ethiopian authorities and the Tigray Individuals’s Liberation Entrance have agreed to what they name a “everlasting cessation of hostilities”.
As much as half one million individuals have died from violence and hunger throughout two years of battle.
Tons of of hundreds have been compelled from their houses, and 9 million urgently want meals.
The African Union mediated the talks, led by former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo and former Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta.
